In the last 20 years, the importance of testing in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) has increased, but there are still questions as to how effective and useful it is. The thrust of this talk is to discuss the various aspects of testing, when and how it can be done, and the benefits that can be accrued from testing across the whole lifecycle, not just during development of the software but also throughout tahe whole Project lifecycle.

About the Presenter

Matthew Cunliffe is a qualified ISEB Practitioner in Software testing, as well as an Agile Inspection Leader, and has been involved in the testing and QA world for over fourteen years. Having been involved in a number of high profile projects (Congestion Charging for London, Education Maintenance Allowance, New Electricity Trading Arrangements, System Migration for Experian), Matthew has had a wide and varied career that brings a wealth of knowledge about testing and QA processes.
