Details

So you have heard the term DevOps. It is the 'IN' thing. You have heard that everyone needs to be doing it to stay competitive. But what is it?

If you were to ask 10 different people what they though DevOps was you would likely get 15 different answers, and many of these would not be wrong. This is because DevOps can mean many different things to different people depending on where they sit and what they are trying to achieve.

In this talk Ste Nadin, Fujitsu's Chief Architect will aim to explain in a simple manner what is meant by DevOps in all of its aspects, how elements of it can be adopted into standard business process and what it will mean for the culture of the work place.

Some of the tools and techniques that have been created and available will also be touched upon. In addition he will explore some of the issues that are usually faced along the journey from having to change how people work, introduction of tools and the commercial implications.
