Many IT people don't like finance very much. Finance is the thing that has incomprehensible jargon, shrinks benefits and charges the budget with costs that were never incurred. However, Finance is fundamental to the IT world, as it is to most other aspects of life, both business and non-commercial. Yet many employees lack knowledge of the particular financial principles on which decisions about IT should be based - decisions that often have serious financial implications for their organizations. Finance for IT Decision Makers covers those aspects of finance relevant to IT professionals in both business and non-commercial organizations - managers; practitioners; buyers; sellers; consultants; and project managers - those people who make or influence decisions about IT.Michael will throw light on to the twilight zone where these two disciplines meet.
